From 1967, Girls’ and Boys’ Rallies have been conducted in the city of Chennai. Today we are proud that we have 36 Rallies and the children attending these Rallies are from the age of 9 years to 20 years. The program for the Girls’ and Boys’ Rallies is similar to Girls Guides or Boys’ Scouts. The program lasts two hours. The children are put into teams and have team participation with games and competitions. They have team inspection and they earn points for their team through different activities. After the games period, the children are taught to make beautiful handicrafts. They do projects for badges and receive a holistic all-round training. The aim of the Girls’ and Boys’ Rally work is to train young people to be disciplined and to become good citizens of India.
