We praise God that in 1990 He led us to purchase land which has been a tremendous blessing to the ministry of CMCT over many years. We were enabled to put up a building for camps, and we have named this camp centre, “Mount Carmel”. This is a beautiful place with a farm land and a beautiful garden. The building itself consists of a large chapel, a large dining room, a large kitchen, toilets on the ground floor and the first floor, four dormitories, and on the second floor, a large hall which can accommodate over 500 when sitting. This land is situated in a very peaceful area and it has excellent soil and we are able to grow coconut, banana, guava and mango trees, also many Indian vegetables are grown. We have many harvests of rice, peanuts and vegetables. We conduct a weekly medical camp in this Camp Centre. We have set up a place for a Dentist and we have started a tailoring centre for women around this area. We also rent out this building for other organizations to use for camp ministry. We find that this is a real Haven and a most beautiful place to go if one wants peace and quiet, and whenever we take young people there for camps, it is always such a blessing for them to get away from the city into peaceful surroundings with beautiful fresh air.
